For primary classes: three shirts (or kameez), two trousers, pinafores or shalwars, five pairs of socks, a tie, a belt, a PE kit and black shoes. Add a cardigan in November. Uniform sizes are chest measurements in inches. Measure a shirt that fits well, flat from armpit to armpit, and double it. If the child is between sizes, or if you are ordering before December, take the larger size — almost every child grows a full size across the school year. Wrong size? Exchanges are free within 7 days.
Shirts are 65/35 polyester-cotton, which resists yellowing and needs little ironing. Trousers and pinafores are poly-viscose suiting that holds a crease and dries overnight in monsoon season. Shalwar kameez sets are cotton-rich lawn, pre-shrunk. Knitwear is acrylic-wool so a hot wash does not ruin it.
